Programmable Cake Mold
2019
A collaboration with the Hybrid Lab lead by Amit Zoran. This project continue the exploration of the lab around digital gastronomy by trying to create a programmable cake mold which gives the chef an ability to accurately control the senses of the user.

How does it work?
The mold contains voxels that can be manipulated using a robotic arm. The chef decides what flavors the user should experience and how they should be blended, and the robotic arm pushes the voxels to the desired position.

Final Output
The final result shown here exhibits a layered, voxel-like structure with a grid pattern.
